How to Apply
Applying is the fun part. To submit an application to the Taking Flight Rugby Scholarship, start by creating a video about yourself that is no longer than two minutes. Don't worry about fancy video editing. With most devices coming with great video recording options, there's no reason you can't enjoy making a home video that's good quality and fun to watch. The more creative you are the better. The more insightful and entertaining your submission is, the better your chances to getting it shared and watched. Your submission should allow the fans, coaches and judges to get a good sense of who you are and why you'd make a great addition to the rugby camp.

Step One

The three topics you must address in your video must be:

  1. Introduce yourself and where you're from
  2. The team you play for and the role it plays in your life/community.
  3. Speak about your aspirations to be a US Eagle

Step Two

Upload your video to YouTube and email us your application. (Download application here).

Step Three

Once videos are approved, we will list them on our own Taking Flight Rugby YouTube channel. Be sure to fill out an application form and submit via email to takingflightrugby@gmail.com so that we can have your contact information on file.

Remember, videos are not judged solely on creativity. We want serious candidates who want to further their aspirations to be professional rugby players. So do your best to showcase your personality, ambitions, your merits and skill, talent and reason why you'd be a great addition to your fellow classmates at the training camp.
